WDBA-TV, virtual channel 40 (UHF digital channel 14), is a Dabl-affiliated television station licensed to Anderson, South Carolina, United States, serving Upstate South Carolina and Western North Carolina. The station is owned by Cunningham Broadcasting; the Sinclair Broadcast Group, which owns Asheville, North Carolina-licensed ABCaffiliate WLOS (channel 13), operates WMYA-TV under a local marketing agreement. However, Sinclair effectively owns WMYA as the majority of Cunningham's stock is owned by the family of deceased group founder Julian Smith. The two stations share studios on Technology Drive (near I-26/US 74) in Asheville; WMYA's transmitter is located in Fountain Inn, South Carolina. Even through WMYA has a digital signal of its own, its broadcasting radius only provides Grade B coverage to the North Carolina side of the market. Therefore, the station is simulcast in standard definitionover WLOS' second digital subchannel in order to reach the entire market. This signal can be seen on virtual and VHF channel 13.2 from a transmitter on Mount Pisgah in Haywood County, North Carolina.
