KAWE is a PBS member station in Bernidji, Minnesota broadcasting on channel 9. It is owned and operated by Northern Minnesota Public Television. Northern Minnesota Public Television also owns KAWB, a simulcast of KAWE broadcasting in Brainerd on channel 22. Both stations are branded as Lakeland Public Television.

On 6/1/1980, KAWE signed on . Soon after, on 3/1/1988, KAWB signed on.
